15 April 2009




This was a nice after yesterday's game. Boggs pitched a good game, and only gave up runs after he got fatigued. The offense was on target and firing on all cylinders. All-in-all, it was what we have come to expect from the Cardinals.

The St. Louis Cardinals easily topped the Arizona Diamondbacks; the final
score was 12 to 5.

St. Louis wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning scoring a
single run. St. Louis out-hit Arizona for the game, 12 hits to 8.

The victory was credited to Mitchell Boggs(1-0) who went 6 innings, allowing 3
runs. Billy Buckner(0-2) absorbed the loss. He pitched 5 and 1/3 innings and
surrendered 6 hits and 2 walks.
